A Clothing Manufacturer in Sri Lanka for Clean, Bonded Finishes
Ardmel is a fashion apparel manufacturer for brands, developing and making collections at our facility in the Biyagama Export Processing Zone, Sri Lanka. Where a stitched hem or facing would add weight, we can bond it instead: lighter, flatter and invisible from the outside. Our garment bonding services cover the route from design to bulk, and we keep conventional sewing for the seams that suit it.
Stitch-free hems on skirts, dresses and tops, made with heat-activated film for a clean, invisible line.
Laser-Cut Details
Precise cut-outs, perforations and sealed raw edges on synthetic fabrics.
Bonded Pockets and Plackets
Patch-on pockets, zip plackets and facings bonded flat for a minimal, modern look.
Heat-Applied Logos and Trims
Logos, decorative tapes and reflective trims applied with heat, with no stitching on the face.
What Bonding Changes in a Fashion Garment
Bonding is a design choice as much as a construction method. These are the details where it changes how a garment looks and feels:
| Detail | Stitched finish | Bonded finish |
|---|---|---|
| Hem on a slip dress | Visible stitch line and folded bulk | A flat, invisible hem that drapes cleanly |
| Pocket on a jacket | Topstitching around the pocket | A clean patch pocket with no stitching on the face |
| Neckline on a knit top | Binding or facing that can twist | A bonded edge that lies flat |
| Logo on a sweatshirt | Embroidery or a sewn label | A heat-applied logo, flush with the fabric |

Fashion Apparel Manufacturing FAQs
Are you a clothing manufacturer in Sri Lanka?
Yes. Ardmel is a garment manufacturer in Sri Lanka and a fashion manufacturer for brands. We develop and manufacture fashion apparel, activewear, intimates, outerwear and workwear at our facility in the Biyagama Export Processing Zone, Sri Lanka.
Do you offer garment bonding for fashion collections?
Yes. Our garment bonding services use hot press, laydown and PUR dot bonding for hems, edges, pockets and components on fashion styles, from sampling to bulk.
Does bonding work on natural fabrics like cotton?
Adhesive bonding can work on cotton and blends when the adhesive is matched to the fabric, and we test it on your fabric first. Ultrasonic welding needs at least 65% synthetic content, so we recommend it for polyester and nylon.
Can you bond garments for our existing collection?
Yes. Send us a current style and we will show where bonded finishes could replace stitching, then sample the changes.
Do bonded fashion garments hold up to washing?
We test bonded samples through repeated wash cycles before bulk and adjust the adhesive or settings until they pass your standard.
