Ardmel conducted a seam sealing and bonding awareness program at the Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa (NDT), sharing technical knowledge and hands-on insight with their students.
The session gave the NDT students a closer look at how seam sealing and bonding technologies work, and how they directly impact garment quality, durability, and production efficiency. As part of our ongoing commitment to bridging industry and academia, this awareness program continues to be something we look forward to conducting each year.
Building Awareness on Seam Sealing & Bonding
The program focused on the fundamentals and practical applications of seam sealing and bonding, covering:
- Seam Sealing Techniques
- Bonding Technology
- Common Quality Issues and How to Prevent Them
- Best Practices for Consistent Results
Through open discussion and technical demonstrations, the students gained a clearer understanding of how these processes translate from theory into real production environments, and how small adjustments can lead to noticeably better outcomes on the factory floor.
Strengthening Our Ties with Academia
Programs like this are about more than just technology — they’re about building lasting relationships with the institutions shaping the industry’s next generation of engineers. We were glad to see the NDT students engage closely with the session, and their continued enthusiasm for the program year after year is what motivates us to keep it going.
At Ardmel, we remain committed to supporting our partners with hands-on training, technical expertise, and practical solutions that make a real difference on the production floor.
Innovation. Collaboration. Better Solutions.
